Faced with the prospect of another semester not going to college and not much to do between now and the time he had to start planning next summer's soccer camp, Conner had decided to take advantage of the weather and the holiday to go road tripping. "Tori!" Conner was still yelling, thanks to loud explosions -- you never noticed how loud they were with a helmet and a Megazord between you and the sound, funny enough, and now he was kind of wondering how anyone in Reefside had hearing left. "How's it going?"

"What's goin' on, Tori?" And now there was a fire truck racing to the scene -- he'd never noticed that detail from the Megazord cockpit because emergency responders somehow always conveniently stayed out of giant stompy foot range -- with its sirens blaring. "I'm in Briarwood!"

"Road trip, just 'cause," Conner bawled into the phone once the fire trucks had gone by. "Don't mind the sound, there's just a Megazord fighting a giant demon looking thing nearby."

[connernotconnor]

"Come on down with me again sometime, maybe we'll catch 'em again," Conner told her. "Hey, come to think of it, I think one of those girls stole some of your clothes too . . ."

[connernotconnor]

"One of the girls who nearly ran me over before she got eaten by the tree?" Conner shrugged. "Dude I ran into had my shirt and jacket."

"Please. I am way prettier than that guy," Conner said scornfully. "One twin is enough for me, thanks. And no, they didn't look anything like us although they did seem to fit the general archetypal personality traits and prettiness factor that we all do."

"No doubles here," Conner assured her. "So far . . . wow, did we always leave the city this much of a mess when we had a Zord fight?"

[connernotconnor]

"I swear, it never looked this bad from the Zords," Conner remarked. "No wonder property insurance in Reefside was so high."
