New Student Check In - All Week
The office was open for the standard new student check-in. There was a table for handing out the student handbook and a map of the campus, a table for picking up your room assignments, and a table for checking in your weapons. If you looked carefully at the workers at these tables, you might get the impression that the school office was not a normal place.
[OOC: Hello, new students! This post is an open all week thing. When your student arrives, please send them by to check in at the various tables just so we can OOCly organize.
Please note that as it relates to weapons, ALL WEAPONS must be checked at the table. Period. There's no sneaking things past Fred Trooper, please. All weapons will be available for your use in the weapons locker. Those weapons can be checked out at any time by their owners (and only by their owners) for use in the shooting range, the salle, or in town. They should not be carried around on campus outside of the range or salle without express IC permission from the administration, though. Please see an administrator during office hours if there is a very good reason to keep it on you.
Things like walking sticks and wands do not have to be given up as they are not considered weapons, although they should be noted. Things like daggers must be checked.
If for whatever reason, your listed roommate situation doesn't work out, don't fear! As of January 15th, you will be able to change rooms to something better for your situation. But please give it a shot for the next couple weeks. Thank you!]
