Keep in mind that I shall not try to type with two hands.
"Why?" you ask. The surgery went well last Tues. Maj Larsen performed a vascularized bone graft: took a small bone graft from my forearm and one of the small veins and attached both to my scaphoid so that the bone can once again have blood flowing in it and thus heal.
Thank you everyone who prayed for me, thought nice thoughts, visited, and called:) I really appreciate it:) Cadet Wolf (my squad com) and Cadet Flammia (my element leader) tried to visit me, but the front desk lady was RUDE and would not tell them where I was>:0
I'm not out of the woods yet though. The bone still has to unbreak. The stitches, wires, and pins need to come out. (I hope soon.)
Gunner Rhodes worked as an MP with a canine unit when he was active duty Marine Corps. The trained dogs practice attacking people with big padding/other stuff on their arms. That's what my left arm looks like, but I can't take it off = GRR!
Wow! Neal called tonight! I haven't talked to that guy on de phone since May. He's going to come out here sometime- sweet. Anyway, that guy's such an optimistic dreamer- too many plans!
