Heartstorm was up faster than her lifemate, and had been looking over her gear for some time before he decided to open his eyes. The rockshaper sometimes roused slowly; other times, he woke when she did. The spear-woman thought perhaps it had something to do with all the time her lifemate could spend thinking and planning and wondering ( ... )

Whistler's ear twitched at Lightstones touch. Her first reaction was to curl up tighter and try to resume her slumber, but he was her elder, and he was telling her to get up, so she did.

She stretched out, long and lean, and mumbled, "Murrrrrrrrr..." before opening her eyes to blink at Lightstone and chirp.

Whistler brushed her leathers off, and ran a comb through her curls. Tucking the comb back into her pack, she stood just as the possibility of food was announced, making her mouth water.

She looked at Lightstone hopefully.

"Breakfast, huh?" Lightstone mused, looking at what Silent was eating. "Well, little bird, do you feel up to a hunt? We'll need everyone if we're to fill our stomachs adequately."

Whistler grinned widely and nodded. If it meant food, it was definately time for a hunt.

She looked around, hoping others would be joining.

Moss rubbed sleep from her eyes with one hand and tested the balance on her slim, light spear with the other as she padded up to join the other two elves. "Whatever it is, it has to be better than minnows. Which is what I was thinking about before Wanderlust came back with some real food. I'm ready when you are."
