Here "Okay dokay Boss...eh...ess. Bosses." Huh. Okay, that was weird. I found myself looking back and forth between Buffy and Wes, wondering whom I just okay dokayed to. Then I figured it didn't really matter, cause they were both with the same plane making. At least I wasn't gonna have to work with Cordelia. I mean, I get along with her way better then at school, but the way she was snipping away now? Makes me nervous. Don't know how they did it here in Los Angeles and they actually all seem to love her. Weird. Kinda.
"I'll help with the cleaning up?" I offered to Fred when Cordelia started about the lobby. Geeze, you'd think she be grateful to anyone coming up with a good idea to get rid of them demons. Anything not coffee that is. Hmmm, coffee. Cordy gets points for that. I watched, her and Wes stalk off to the basement, and then looked over at Buffy and Dawn going up the stairs. Least Dawnie was sure to be safe around Buffy, that's like one less thing to worry about.
Spells first. "Let's go into..." who's office is it anyway? Wes and I spend most of our time there, but... "...Er, into the office. There's books there we can use to put up stronger wards. Still don't get how they got through those. I checked and double checked them. Nothing like should have been able to get through. Wes checked them too and-and, I don't get it." I rambled on as I walked into the office. Once we were there, I pulled book I thought would be useful from their place. Haven't been around here for long, but this place is starting to have this feel of being familiar to it. Y'know?
"Okay, you look in that book and look up anything about wards, protective barriers, that sorta thing," I said, giving Fred the book. We were gonna be fine. Kick some demon tussy, and then get Angel back. Darn skippy we will! I glanced back at the destroyed lobby and shook my head. We'd better keep an eye out for any of them demons that may return. They seemed to be here the next, and gone the other instant. Kinda weird. "Oh, maybe we should look up that demon as well." Okay, doh. Where's my brain? Speaking of brains.
"How'd you do that explosive thingy?" I asked curious, cracking open the first book.
