The voice is Balthier’s, even though it sounds somewhat distorted. Something hurts. She wouldn’t be able to say what or where, or even what the pain is like, but it’s nevertheless there.

(Why is it…so…dark?)

Brilliant use of game mechanics. Absolutely brilliant.

(I love that Balthier would heal her before himself; and his line about 'the supporting role.')

Great chapter! It was so very... them. How they were more concerned for the other, Balthier's whole thing about the leading role, it was great!

Seems like it's been ages since they've had some proper "them" moments, as you put it. Without any zomg!issues mixed in.

omg!!!!
beautiful chapter. a simple display of partnership and ohhh!! just really good job!! I loved Balthier's line about the supporting and leading role. Very into his character. And even though you describe Fran in her weekend state, you still manage to make her strong and caring. Beautiful job on this one!
