mod announcement #2
Hello again to members, voters and submitters.
This is in regards to my previous announcement. Either way, I have decided to give this community one more chance in the running, given the feedback I have recieved.
So what's going to happen?
For now, challenges will be staying weekly. Before, I know a lot of things weren't on schedule, but that will be changing. As one of the mods, I have no idea what has happened to our second mod, so that sent schedules off order, as I didn't know whether she was posting or not. As I officially know it's up to me to run this place now, I can keep timings accurate. If a lack of entries still occurs, then I will reconcider bi-weekly submissions.
Instead of three entries a challenge, I'm upgrading it to four. Two from X, two from X-2.
There will be more provided texture challenges, given that there was rarely any before, and this gained a lot of favour in the poll.
Likewise, there will be more provided bases.
I will also be setting up a suggestions post, for challenge themes, pictures you would like to see used in a challenge, or pictures you would like to see made into bases. Alongside that, you will also be able to suggest textures of lyrics you would like to see. This overall, will make the comm more member friendly and will make the comm what you want it.
As for schedules, that, for now, will be changing to Tuesday through Sunday. Voting will be posted up on a Sunday evening, and the new theme will be posted on a Tuesday alongside the winners. This gives you the weekend as well to post your entries, for any latecomers, as, living in the UK, it is often after the deadline that I recieve entries from those submitting on a Friday evening. So, for example, today, the 15th, is the submissions post. This weekend, Sunday 19th, voting will be posted. Winners and the new submissions will be posted on the 21st.
