Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD coming to PS3 soon!
So, Final Fantasy X and X-2 are coming to the Playstation 3 soon, and I'm super excited! I believe the date is September 10, 2013. How awesome is that?? Also, it's supposed to have the International versions of the game. Final Fantasy X International already had an option for menus in English so that won't be much different, but I'm really excited to play X-2 International in English! That game was significantly harder in Japanese since it had so much more content, and I really want to get into the monster capturing and such. It's unknown whether the HD remake will have Last Mission, but that's what my original Japanese disc is for, right? I'm super duper excited, I can barely contain myself.
I'm also really excited for trophy support - X will be the first game I Platinum, for sure, followed shortly by X-2. I'm really excited about X's trophies -- what could they possibly give me that's harder than what I've already done? Although I guess I'll have to do all the work for the Celestial Weapons again... sigh. Chocobo race. Well, I did it twice, I can do it a third time, right...?
I thought long and hard about it, but I'll do my first run on X HD as a normal, vanilla run. All Sphere Grid shenanigans allowed, no restrictions, able to change weapons, etc., and it'll turn into a 100% file.
I also need to finish my X calculations notebook (I think it's mostly Yojimbo bribe tables, but I'm not sure). I'm also curious whether the calculations will use NA or International numbers, but I'd assume the latter. I also have a new notebook just for my X HD games -- the first section is for data and reminders, the second section is all scratch paper for calculations if I need to do them.
So excited -- in about two months (!!) I'll get to revisit my favourite game!
Watching The Tipping Forties' LP of FFX in preparation. They're absolutely hilarious and I love it.
