For work I need to make some sterile ice; basically, start out with boiled distilled water and freeze it in a clean container. Open ice cube trays won't do, so I want to get the special bags that are used to make cubes.
The problem is that the ones Waitrose sell leave the ice stuck inside the plastic pockets of the bag - it's difficult to get them out without contaminating them. But in the past (and I mean a LONG time ago) I've used bags like this that were designed so that the plastic separated easily, you shook or squeezed them and had a bag full of ice cubes that could just be tipped out.
I really can't remember who sells these; does anyone know? In the UK, of course!
