Months ago I tried using my Fuji S5700 bridge camera with my old infra-red filter and the results were so poor that I thought it wasn't sensitive enough to be useful. I tried it again this morning with the 720nm filter I got for the Sony and the results are at least as good as the Sony, were in (red) colour, and I could see what I was doing for viewfinding etc., an improvement on the Nikon. Here's one I converted to B&W; as usual white things probably reflect a lot of infra-red.
I think that this is probably going to be my camera of choice for any future infra-red work. It may not necessarily give better results than the Nikon, but it's a LOT easier to use for this purpose.
