Oh Thanksgiving
1. I'm the asshole who signed up to work tomorrow, because I thought it was just going to be Bernadette and I at home for the holiday and that was so depressing that even working til 5 the Wednesday before a holiday and driving home in the dark and snow sounded better. Now my brother and his wife will be joining us. 1/2 is so much better than 1/3.
2. I just advised my sister that she should drop her pie in the driveway before serving it to her "friend" Keith. I told her, "driveway pie is my favorite pie!" This is a reference to a series of Thanksgivings. During a 2-3 year period of my high school career my Grandmother brought her mince meat (gahhhhhhhhhhhhh) pie to the feast and successfully dropped it in the driveway on her way up to the house EVERY year. What a hoot.
