So I stayed up until around 3:30 last night finishing V for Vendetta, and I won't say anything to spoil anyone who plans on reading it (Danielle, basically), but it was very different, except for a few instances of exact dialogue and the basic plot outline. It's the kind of thing that probably would have made me hate the movie, had I not seen it first, but I think they're so different that it's easy to set them apart as separate entities, and like both equally. I'll probably come to like the graphic novel better once I read it a few more times. I certainly understand, at the very least, why Alan Moore withdrew his credit, since the movie really is only just a fraction of what he wrote.
Yesterday was spent mostly at the library, where Danielle and Roger and I helped Brie's mom with this kind of local history thing. It wasn't the most exciting thing to do, but I think I enjoyed myself somewhat at least, and I learned some interesting things. After that was Illusion, which I summed up in my last post.
That's all.
