Squall [Lesson II; Weapon Skills]

Feb 28, 2005 01:39

The halls were alive with activity as Squall drifted slowly out of the classroom. Unfamiliar faces made up the crowds, though the occasional semi-familiar haircut did crop up occasionally.
'Semi-familiar' in that he couldn't put names to anyone. Semi-familiar in that the only reason these people classified as familiar was that they were present in his last class.

Biology had been boring despite his best efforts to remain studious. He wasn't at Garden, but performance still mattered. With Weapon Skills next on his schedule the day seemed to be improving. Weapons were something he cared about and the lesson could be put to use someday. Unless of course it turned out to be a beginner's course. That would just be an insult to the intelligence of the student body. Or most of it anyway -- Squall had already spotted the tattooed martial artist known as Zell moping around outside of a Lit class.

His look of disdain somehow intensifying, Squall turned a corner and shuffled off to his next lesson. On the way he exchanged his Bio book for his gunblade. He has high expectations for this class. Hopefully the instructor won't disappoint.
