(no subject)
Saturday was Scott's and Halley's combined birthday party dealie, which pretty much consisted of what we all usually do, hanging out and having a good time and such. We were all pretty much talking about geek stuff (gaming, magic, etc.) until Halley and Nick showed up, at which point we shifted to less geeky topics. (for the time being.) Eventually Halley bullied us all into going out back, so that even though we weren't swimming, the potential for swimming would be there. Then food came out, and everyone else started filtering in, and things started growing. We got a fire going later on, and had lots of fun with sparklers, and Carl and I had to fend of rogue sparks from the fire, until we eventually moved our chairs back. Then we headed inside, where there was more chillage, and the Lonsdales kept encouraging stripping games that really just weren't going to happen on any real level, and eventually most of us headed home.
Last night went to go see Pirates of the Carribean with Stephy and her friend Megan, who seems really cool, though can't really say we talked a whole lot considering the whole movie thing. Quite a few others were going to go originally I guess, but they ended up deciding not to or couldn't or whatever else. Good movie, annoying as hell ending, because cliff-hangers suck.
Today worked seven hours, and that's about it as of now.
