(no subject)
Well, last night, went out with Lizzie, David, and a few of his friends to buy tickets for Superman. After grabbing the tickets, went into Shaw's so Lizzie could grab some money from the ATM, and bumped into Amanda, who I haven't seen since I left last year, there, so we talked for a couple minutes before she had to get back to work. After we were all done there, went back to Lizzie's house for dinner, and then hung around chatting while David and one of his friends played some Mario Kart. Then left for the movie, got there pretty early, and grabbed some seats in the front row (because we all know those are the best seats :P) It was a good movie, much better than what I'd expect for Superman from the bits and pieces I've seen of it elsewhere. Definitely had it's cheesy parts though, but I guess, in a way, that's part of Superman. Anyway, it was still quite good. So yeah, after that, we all went home.
Also in there, we talked about the possibility of making Tuesdays into a movie night (pending work and stuff), since it's cheap at the Nick on Tuesdays. We'll see how that pans out though.
Portcon this weekend too, though I'm not sure if I'm going to go anymore. It may turn out that everyone I was planning on going with is working this weekend, in which case, unless I find other people to go with, probably isn't going to happen. Portcon is fun and all, but it's something best done with a group, not by yourself. At least for me. Yeah, I'll have a couple friends who are there anyway, but they're going to be working there, so I can't really hang out with them much. So yeah, though I'm guessing the interested parties are those I already planned to go with, maybe someone will surprise me, so if anyone's interested, let me know. And if it turns out I'm wrong about people I was planning on going with working, then we'll just turn it into a big party or something... well, bigger small party at a really big party :P
