The streams of golden light played across the green field, and the stone ruins that were off in the distance. His jaw tightened, the time had arrived. The moment he had planned for, had secluded himself for, and sacrificed so many creatures to the progression of his knowledge.

He did have potions on him but the bottles had been crushed much like he had. If he had more strength he could have cast cure on himself but Tidus was still a little out of it. Tidus coughed again and winced as it stirred another pain inside of him.
Tidus wasn't sure if it was just his vision but Cloud looked different. He wasn't as pale as he had been, maybe it was just his vision. It was blurred at best.

Finally, he found one, a hi-potion. Considering the damage that had been done to Tidus, Cloud wasn't sure it would help...much...but it was better than nothing at all.
"I'll be right back." He promised, as he cradled Tidus' head, in an attempt to get him to drink the potion.
Dimmed eyes turned towards the direction of Sephiroth. Cloud wasn't going to give him the benefit of an answer just yet.
