Open for the "wonder twins"

The streams of golden light played across the green field, and the stone ruins that were off in the distance. His jaw tightened, the time had arrived. The moment he had planned for, had secluded himself for, and sacrificed so many creatures to the progression of his knowledge.

Tidus stirred slightly and was vaguely aware of weight pressing down on his legs and chest. The pressure on his chest made it hard to breathe and he could feel warm blood trickling over the side of his face. He coughed and groaned as it jarred something inside of him. Bruised, maybe broken ribs. Hell if he knew, all he knew was it hurt a lot ( ... )

Cloud called Tidus' name a few more times, and upon hearing something that resembled a groan, under the rubble, he began to throw the large remnants of the wall to the side. He moved them, without much trouble at all, though, at this point, it could be said that it was the adrenaline that kept him moving. The wake of the destruction was still being scanned as he threw the heavy pieces aside ( ... )

Sephiroth could slowly feel the potion working. The few broken bones were knitting. Ribs shifted back into position, eliciting various pains and moans. Sephiroth struggled and got his legs to finally start moving. He staggered around the crater left by Alexander. He put a hand on the remnants of the ground and helped himself up. His eyes looking at the rubble, "Oh little rabbit?" He manged to get his voice loud enough. He had a rather ravenous smile on his face, the pain was making him feral, Sephiroth chuckled. He could feel the new powers flowing in him, but their use was a bit of a mystery. He'd need a quick way to get back to Kalm. The bones on his back seemed to shift and crack, making room, making something.

Tidus was aware of the rubble shifting and he could sense a familiar presence. Very slowly, he forced his eyes open and looked up at the obvious panicking Cloud. He made his hand move so it reached up to grasp lightly at Cloud's arm. Even in bad shape, he was trying to reassure the other he would be fine.

He did have potions on him but the bottles had been crushed much like he had. If he had more strength he could have cast cure on himself but Tidus was still a little out of it. Tidus coughed again and winced as it stirred another pain inside of him.

Tidus wasn't sure if it was just his vision but Cloud looked different. He wasn't as pale as he had been, maybe it was just his vision. It was blurred at best.

Even if he could cast cure on himself, the magic would have been immediately sucked into Cloud. Though, Cloud, himself, hadn't quite figured this out yet. Hearing Sephiroth's voice made Cloud cringe, and he hurredly rummaged through his pockets, for a potion, something, anything.

Finally, he found one, a hi-potion. Considering the damage that had been done to Tidus, Cloud wasn't sure it would help...much...but it was better than nothing at all.

"I'll be right back." He promised, as he cradled Tidus' head, in an attempt to get him to drink the potion.

Dimmed eyes turned towards the direction of Sephiroth. Cloud wasn't going to give him the benefit of an answer just yet.

Sephiroth stumbled, tripping on a rock. He crawled the last few feet to see Cloud hovering over Tidus. "Awww, did someone get hurt?" He smiled letting the pure hilarity of the situation was over him. The one purely bred to kill him has only aided in his own destruction. His masterpiece perfected by the jackass that wants to kill him. How poetic. "You fool." A boisterous laugh echoed in the air, only to stop suddenly when Sephiroth felt a sharp pain run through his body. "Now you'll see what you have caused...what you have helped me achieve!" Sephiroth cried out with a loud roar, it dipped into the feral range. The bones and sinews shifted snapping, their movement and growth increasing in speed. The skin was pressed outward at each shoulder blade. Two wings burst forth, throwing parts of flesh, pieces of bone, and flecks of blood all over the ground behind him. The wings resembled those on a Valron. Sephiroth was on his hands in knees. He was trying to catch his breath. He lifted his head up to show a sick smile and a sheen of sweat on ( ... )
