Another purge?

I was in the fanfiction.net tag on tumblr and saw three people complaining about fics being deleted. Two were authors. So has anyone notice if the admins at fanfiction.net are on the move to enforce their rules again?

A friend of mine just had 5 of her stories removed with no warning or anything. Just gone. Though some of her other stories that are also explicit are still up on there. Is this a purge again or is it just their servers messing up?

Your friend would have received at least some kind of message from fanfiction.net that says why they are deleted.

my deletion wasn't recent, but I and a friend of mine didn't receive any type of warning or message about our fic deletion, it just happened. So no, warnings are not complimentary, I've learned from experience.

Yes. The admins are now enforcing their rules and I must say, it's about bloody time

I have a feeling that you might have seen some of things that are going down on their blog.

Just from their blog, I can tell users are mad about the read the book and the one direction stuff.

And the MA, interactive, and beyond. Yep, I was enjoying the chaos brought about by these users, and by the ones freaking out about the lawyers getting involved.

Found this in Google while looking up the Purge. A friend of mine had a large multi-chapter fic deleted because it had an opinion poll in one of the chapters. Because it was on her old computer and everything was corrupted, besides a couple of bits and pieces the fic is pretty much gone for good. A lot of m-rated ones have been deleted, too. And I mean a lot - 3 from one author, and handful from another. Ones I have favourited in my browser are all gone too.
