ERRATUM : number of deleted stories on ffnet

It seems that I made a big mistake in my previous table, comparing the figures coming from the categories's pages and others who are from each fandom's page.
I didn't use the page category to assess the current number of stories because I attributed the difference to a delay in updating. However, if the update is not immediate, the difference was ( Read more... )

Up there is solid proof of the YGO fandom being the best. While others lose fic, the show about children's card games is only gaining. :'D

Thank you for clarifying this though. It's a good thing that there were less stories deleted. And yeah, the Yugioh fandom got hit the least :)

You know, this is all fics removed not just fics removed by the admins. It's entirely possible that at least some of those were removed by the users.

When compared to the 300+ thousand that still exist on the site, losing only two thousand /is/ few. It's not even one percent of fic.
Not going to comment on the emotional impact of the deletion, because that's an entirely different thing.
