SO excited!!!
Okay, so I'm really really really anxious to be going home tomorrow. Can't really explain why, but I just can't wait to see all of my family and friends and stuff, and just kinda relax. So, I'm leaving right after my ear training exam tomorrow for my 3:30 plane trip to Baltimore to connect to a plane to Columbus which arrives at 7pm. I can't wait to see everyone!!! And to eat Chipotle, and Skyline, and LaRosa's, and Graeter's.....and oh, it will be marvelous :-) I have two auditions on Saturday. I'm really really pumped for those. I had a great voice lesson this week when we went over my songs for the auditions and it just got me so ready to like, go out in the world and actually apply what I've learned this year. Plus, Sam and Jordan helped me put together a hot audition outfit and I can't wait to wear it. Anyway, first, I'm auditioning for a theatre that's doing Godspell and Ragtime, and then after that audition, I'm trying out for NKU Summer Dinner Theatre. They're doing a show called "1940's Radio Hour" so I have to sing a 40's song and such. Both are paying jobs and all positions are available. So I'm really hoping for a callback and PRAYING for some sort of part. I think it'd be so cool to be a part of a professional show and to get paid for doing what I love to do....I just, can't wait....it would be really cool. I hope I do well.....
So, this week flew by. Which is fine by me because it made Friday come faster :-) I can't remember in exactness what happened, but I'll do the highlights. I turned in my research proposal for RLC and it took me FOREVER and it was a lot of work and I hope I did it right. I'm really dreading writing the actual final research paper though because I have yet to figure out a thesis, and writing a paper without any direction is impossible. I had a bad ballet week....don't know why, but just didn't do well in class and Ralph prolly noticed. But, whatever, hopefully I'll fix that after I recieve a battery recharge during break. Veronique and I did our scene in voice and speech last week and it went really well. I mean, we switched around tons of lines and stuff, but we had so much fun working on it and Johanna loved it, so that's good enough for me, lol. Um, I had a Shamrock smoothie today from Zia and it was awesome. I'm getting another tomorrow - Happy St. Patrick's Day! WOO! I took my theory midterm yesterday and I think it went pretty well, I felt quite a bit of pressure though because I didn't have as long to study. Hopefully it'll be ok. Tomorrow's my ear training midterm and I'm kinda nervous. Sam and I were practicing tonight and there are some things that I'm really good at, but there are other parts that I get all messed up on. I'll have my fingers crossed tomorrow that it goes well. I have to do my monologue tomorrow in acting and I'm kinda freaking out....
I'm seeing Wicked over break, and I wanna see Company at Playhouse because a teacher from Hartt, Kristin Huffman, is in it and it's already gotten great reviews. And I wanna go shopping because I feel like I have NO clothes here at school. The trick is getting all the clothes back here in the right amount of suitcases, haha. I also am going job-hunting with Megan since Express in Tri-county closed (BOO!)....that'll be LOTS of fun, I'm sure. Well, it'll be fun because I'll be wiht Megan, but finding a job...well, totally different story. And, I can't think of anything else except that I hope there's a marathon of Project Runway on while I'm home so that I can see all of the episodes that I missed while being at school since we don't get Bravo.
