Being a Mother is NOT Instinctive

Yes, I believe this is true. All those people who tell you "Oh, once your baby is born you'll know what to do" LIES! They're all lies.

Maybe it's just me, though. I have no instinct and no intuition what-so-ever. So, I had a very deep conversation with my baby today. It went something like this:

Me: This isn't working, Madison
Madison: *grin*
Me: Oh, you think this is funny, do you? Well, you won't once you hear this!
Madison: *silence*
Me: Starting tomorrow you're going to have a routine
Madison: *coo*
Me: Yes, we tried Baby's way, but Baby's way isn't working.
Madison: *silence again*
Me: Now, we're going to try Mommy's way.
Madison: *more silence*
Me: I'm glad we see eye-to-eye on this matter.
Madison: *grin*

So, now I've decided to put her on a Parent-led schedule and hope that it goes better. I'm not sure if it will work, but if it does I will be very happy. Hopefully, using this schedule I can more easily know why she is crying. For instance, if it's noon and she starts crying I will know that she is probably crying because it's time for her nap.

If this doesn't work then I will try something else. I will keep trying something different until I find the way that works best!!!

On a lighter note. Has anyone ever seen World's Dumbest? That show is flippin' hilarious! It makes me laugh so hard that I almost start crying. The stupidity of people is very funny : )

My ADHD hit me today. there was an Equifax ad at the top of the page and every time you rolled your mouse over the clicky button a strip of light flashed by and the $4.95 got bigger. I spent like 10 minutes scrolling my mouse over the button. Then, I realized what I was doing and berated myself for my lack of attention span.

And now it's back to work for another week of cringing at poor English! Yay!
