Paine had been raised in a military life, taught to sleep no matter what temperature or weather. So why was their shared room always so cold in the morning?
She didn’t have any answer as she walked by, feeling the chill coming through their open window. Of course, she never did bother to poke her head in and see just how warm Paine kept her Al Bhed.
