Author's Note: Final Fantasy XIII-2!!! I picked up my copy of the collector's edition last night at midnight, and I played it all night. This is my post to commemorate the release of a Final Fantasy sequel that is infinitely better than X-2.
(Also, a little FF-gossip: Final Fantasy Versus XIII and Final Fantasy XIV have officially been cancelled. They are no more D:)
The paradox effect was sinking in at the Bresha Ruins… Alyssa could feel it tingling on the skin of her neck. The short-haired blond tomboyish Academy researcher could swear she felt a tiny tugging at a small spot on her neck whenever she entered an area affected by the paradox. It made her shiver.
This would happen every time, until the fate full day in 005 AF, when Atlas awakened. But Atlas wasn’t what she noticed... That pink-haired girl that suddenly appeared just before Atlas attacked… She knew her name somehow… It was Serah, wasn’t it?
After Atlas had been subdued, she approached Serah, but found herself unable to speak. She felt something… When Serah’s eyes met hers, Alyssa could feel that small tugging on her neck again.
Finally, Alyssa got up the nerve to speak.
“H-hi Serah,” She stuttered, “I’ve been waiting for you.”
“You have?” Serah replied, slightly confused.
Alyssa simply nodded, then grabbed Serah by the wrist and pulled her around the corner.
“You… You’ve finally come…” Alyssa just felt the words rising in her throat incoherently.
“I… I don’t understand.”
You’ll understand soon enough…
Alyssa didn’t hesitate another moment. Without thinking, she leaned forward and kissed her.
