Tifa was a monk.
Her muscles were clearly defined with every movement and not a motion was wasted as she tore through the pack of goblins before her.
Lightning was a paladin, her blade singing as she cleaved through a kobold about to strike Tifa. Her armor gleamed in the dimly lit room as they continued onward.
Lulu was a mage.
Her arcane spells tore through the rest of the opposition.
Quistis was a thief though not at all helpless when it came to combat, her whip often put to good use.
As the blond scanned the now quiet room for treasure, she noticed Tifa pin Lightning to the wall, mouths joined as tongues fought for dominance.
She cleared her throat.
No response.
She cracked her whip...
"OW! What was that for?!" Tifa roared, rubbing her shoulder, Quistis having used the rolled up dungeon master's manual to whack her hard.
"You're ruining the atmosphere making out with your girlfriend!"
The four women often met together in the apartment Quistis shared with her wife Lulu to play D&D, something that usually went off without a hitch.
But ever since Tifa had fallen hard for Lightning and vice versa, it was getting harder and harder for the pair of them to stick to their characters.
Tifa and Quistis glared at one another for several moments, until Lightning's arms wrapped around Tifa's middle and Lulu's hands started massaging Quistis's shoulders.
Both young women calmed down, shook hands, and then looked at the discarded playing board.
"Can we just order pizza and play spin the bottle? I'm not feeling up for role-playing today."
Quistis nodded at Tifa's suggestion and the four soon set about on their newest quest: finding an empty bottle.
