She tried to stop the feeling in her chest, that tightening feeling. Tried to contain the twitch of her eye at the sight before her but it was useless.
Tifa Lockhart was jealous and the waitress; tall, with red hair and curves, was making out with her girlfriend!
"Tifa..."
Wait, Tifa reminded herself as Elena's voice brought her out of her jealous fantasies, that didn't happen.
The waitress, short, with dark hair and a bored look on her face, was waiting.
"Um...I'll have some water," Tifa said, despite already having a full glass on her table.
The waitress nodded and walked away.
Tifa looked at Elena sitting across from her and noticed the grin on her face.
"It's not funny," Tifa pointed out.
"Sure it is. You're jealous!"
"Am not!"
"Yes you are," Elena replied. "It's cute."
Tifa blushed then, feeling like this was their first date all over again.
"So cute, in fact, that I think you deserve a reward when we get home tonight," Elena said softly, moving closer to Tifa's face, trailing along her lips with her right index finger.
Tifa gulped.
She'd have to thank the waitress if she saw her again, Tifa thought to herself later that night, as Elena sunk on top of her, exhausted and panting.
