I have never even heard of this pairing, but it is so rich with detail that I have to adopt it into my own personal fanon. This was an incredible read, unbefitting of a term such as 'drabble.' I especially love the paragraph about the rules of Midgar -- it's the kind of grit that is very uniquely OG and I love it. I am starving for more of this.

Thank you so much! I have no idea if anyone else has written Jessie/Aeris, but I have a bit of a thing for random pairings... Don't know if I'll have the time to write more, but I hope to.

I really enjoyed this! I don't know who Jessie is but I'm now fascinated by her and this pairing (which is an amazing achievement as I'm not really an Aeris fan). The detail and the way you draw the reader into this moment of theirs is really well done!

Aw, thank you, I'm really glad to hear it. Jessie is a minor character, one of the NPCs in Avalanche at the beginning of the game. She doesn't stick around for long, but I always liked her.
