Week 50: Same but Different - Submit
The 1st of March falls on the same day of the week as the 1st of February every year except leap years. Neat, right? We're going to work that sameness into the theme. ^.~
Challenge: Same but Different
You know you love a technical challenge! XD
This week you're going to take a Final Fantasy icon you've already made--and remake it. You could use the same image & text but revamp the composition, or use the same composition but replace the base image, change the colors, etc. You can remake an ugly icon that you hate, or take an icon you're particularly pleased with and make a new variation. Whatever inspires you! ^^
Here's an example from rusalkatrix:

When you submit, please include both the old icon & the new one, and specify which is which.
Simple enough? Let me know if you have any questions!
Rules:
--Each member may submit up to 2 icons. But if you decide to make 2, please don't use the same style for both. Experiment a little!
--Icons must conform to livejournal standards: 100x100px & 40KB or less, in .gif, .jpg, or .png format.
--Icons must be made new for the challenge.
--Don't use or showcase your entry icon(s) until the winners have been announced.
--Fanart and doujinshi can be used, but if the artist does not want his/her work modified, please don't use it.
Icons are due by Thursday, March 8th at 8pm EST.
Submissions should be left in a comment to this post. (All comments will be screened.)
