"Something", Girlslash, Purgatory, and a poll
Hi everybody! I have stuff to say. (What's that? I should be finishing the first chapter of Three Hills? Nonsense!)
First of all, let's talk about "Something." Something is a heartwarming fic, but... it's been sitting for a good long time now without a bite, and had been slow to be...bitten? for some time. Cheshire_monkey and I talked about it and we decided that we should call it. This really doesn't say anything about the fic, which is great in its own right, just that it's not popular and not getting any writers. Therefore, as of now, we will be retiring "Something." Here's the thing though, we don't want to retire it unfinished. If there is a kind writer (or writers--we're eyeing you woodsong and lvs2read) that want to take "Something" away and finish it, you may feel free to claim it in the poll and take it away and put a finish to it. Because we can't say that it's close to its finish and call how many chapters it should have, we say you can have as many words as you want and up to 2 weeks to get it squared away. Please people, don't make us send this poor thing to the retirement home a half-finished being. (If more than two of you wish to claim... do! We'll be happy to organize things for you all to finish things up).
Now...as to the next topic. Girlyslash. Granted, this was our first femmeslash fic, but there wasn't a huge outpouring of love. Managing four fics is tough on me and cheshire_monkey, so we want to know that it's worth our time to er...do such things. Vote in the poll below, to have femmeslash, or to not.

by the by. bubosquared requested a long extension for the next chapter of Purgatory due to computer problems. So, bubosquared you have until Monday as you requested. If however, the next chapter isn't posted by Monday then the chapter will again be up for grabs. :)
