Update 9/27
Apparently, what my econ teacher said was true - people respond to incentives. I got 11 icons last night, bringing our total up to 21. That's still not enough to get to the 25 icon cut off, so I still need lots of submissions. EVERYONE has to get themselves in gear and submit this week, or else I will seriously consider bringing out the chopping block and getting all LIMS mod on your asses.

EDIT: It's been asked why the punishment is going to be so harsh for everyone, and the answer is simply because there are a grand total of 41 participants who signed up for this round at the beginning. When they don't submit, they're wasting the spot of someone who may have liked to participate. When I saw that there were only 10 icons, it was absolutely unacceptable on every level - that's less than 25% of participants submitting. A business can't run on that, so my contest will not either.
There are several people (some on each team) who have submitted once or twice or not at all in all five of these weeks, and that's frustrating for me. I still have to keep tabs on you but you're not participating. You're wasting space. I'm going to say it again - IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO LEAVE THIS COMPETITION, COMMENT AND WITHDRAW. Otherwise, starting next challenge, if you do not submit at least once within the next three challenges, I will eliminate you from the list of participants and remove you from your team community. Simple as that.
