Regarding any icontest placing, ALL PLACING IN AFFILIATE ICONTESTS FROM TODAY FORWARD IS ELIGIBLE FOR GIL.

We've also got a new Mod Special which I think you guys will really want to cash in on. It involves ff_oscars, which is an awesome community. Check out the ONGOING MOD SPECIALS post for more details.

With ff_oscars, that's not really an icontest is it?
If it's a nomination / contest, maybe each team should pick one icon from each of their members to submit?

It would be cool if you could find icons that fit the categories from your teammates, but it's not limited to just your teammates :D In fact, it's a lot of fun to go outside of iconists you know and look at really awesome icons by people who are completely foreign to you 8D

Yes, I see exactly what it's about, it's pretty cool. It just seems like there are some of the players here already posting or nominated there, I don't want to say unfair advantage for gil, because it really isn't, but maybe the mascots or another player could be in charge of nominating icons from their teams? And if they place they get a bonus or something?

Placing at ff_oscars does give 100 gil to anyone here. Nominating teammates would be cool, but no one should be limited to that because there are many other talented people who are not in this competition. Basically, you are not limited to any group of people, every ff iconist is open, and if you want to choose icons from teammates so that your team can get more gil, that's fine too :]

I basically have no power over at ff_oscars, so I'm hesitant to make any decrees on who people can or cannot nominate.

I joined FF Oscars and did all I could to be a member, but I have waited four days to be allowed to post so I could nominate, and it's all due Wednesday... So do I get points for trying? D:
