FFX: Lucil/Elma, "leaving Clasko behind" (R) -- NSFW? auronlu February 15 2010, 18:00:08 UTC
(Meta to explain why Clasko isn't with Lucil and Elma in their endgame cameo, although actually it's because he might be working on the ferry, depending on what the player told him to do)

Clasko puffed down the path into the village. Elma had sent him back to the ferry to negotiate for gysahl greens from the ship's chocobo wrangler. And now he was left out, left behind-- again. He'd heard the raucous cheering through the trees and looked up to see a skin of golden-orange light explode over the whole sky. Lady Yuna had done it! He raised his jar of gysahl greens and trotted faster.

The cheers had faded, although not the celebration, by the time he reached the village. He pushed away Letty's backslap with a strained smile. "Where's Elma?" She and the captain had been sampling a tropical drink of an unusual shade of green when he left them outside the temple steps. They were not there now.

Suddenly he caught a flash of red through the flying buttresses of the temple: Elma's uniform stood out even in the dark. He hurried towards her, eager to dispense with his errand and rejoin the festivities.

Or not.

Clasko froze in his tracks as if he'd come face to face with a basilisk.

Apparently the captain and her trusty second had found their own way to celebrate. Clasko had heard the gossip around Djose, but had never taken it seriously. Honestly, who could believe that frosty, hidebound Captain Lucil would-- would--

Elma was pressed against the wall, head thrown back, hands tangled in Lucil's flame-colored hair. Elma's bracers and vest were chucked on the ground beside them. Lucil had a riding crop pressed under the younger woman's chin, and was nipping and kissing her way down Elma's throat. As he watched, stupefied, Lucil leaned forward to whisper something in her ear before biting down on an earlobe, eliciting a muffled squeak. The captain's gloved hands were wandering over the young body arched beneath her, kneading lean curves through a thin white under-tunic that glowed in the torchlight.

Squirming under the captain's ministrations, Elma tilted her head slightly in Clasko's direction. Before he could duck behind a column, brown eyes locked with his. He blanched and prayed for the stones of Yevon's temple to swallow him on the spot. But Elma only winked- winked -- and gripped the sides of Lucil's head to pull her into a noisy kiss. The riding crop dropped to the ground, forgotten.

Clasko fled on the spot.

Lucil pulled away as Elma began to chuckle. "Something amusing?"

"Sorry, ma'am," Elma said, eyes twinkling. "Just Clasko. I think we scared 'im."

"Ah. Unfortunate." Lucil shook her head. "Well, perhaps he will follow our example and seek out R&R among the civilians."

"I doubt it." Elma grinned. "He'll probably go hide with the chocobo."

"Well, that should make him happy." Lucil traced a fingertip along her jawline. "But I think we should seek more private quarters to continue your performance review."

"Yes, ma'am!" Elma drew herself up in a smart salute as Lucil bent to retrieve the crop. "After you."

I hope someone else is tempted to take one of your other prompts. Elma/Lucil are SO MUCH FUN to write, and they're practically canon. :D

FFVIII: Seifer/Rinoa, Ring Toss, PG-13 astrangerenters February 16 2010, 01:51:41 UTC
Though she acts the perfect lady, a Princess, in Timber town, Rinoa shows another side entirely once they leave the confines of the city. As soon as the Galbadian soldiers check their identity cards and let them leave, she sticks her tongue out at them. Seifer grips her wrist and rolls his eyes.

“You get yourself arrested when I'm with you, and your father will have me thrown in that desert prison.”

She twines their fingers and winks. “My father's not here.”

There's a small carnival on the outskirts of town with more Galbadians patrolling, but at least they're away from Timber for a little bit. Trains that run on Galbadian time, television broadcasts praising Vinzer Deling's magnificence. It's all bullshit, Seifer knows, and so does the girl at his side. But for this afternoon they're away from the train tracks and the whispers of “Won't someone stand up to them?”

She's warm at his side, smelling like strawberry shampoo and the summer sunshine. Rinoa tugs him to one of the clearly rigged games. “Win me something,” she demands, sunlight glinting off of her necklace chain. “Something amazing.”

He snorts. “Waste of money,” he grumbles, but at the same time he's already analyzing the bottles that are set up for the ring toss. Can't say Garden taught him nothing as he estimates his best chance for success. His best chance for that ugly stuffed chocobo she's already got her greedy eyes on.

Seifer slaps down some money, and it takes six separate tries and two punches in the arm from his date, but the greasy looking guy running the game hands over the chocobo. And it's worth it for the way her eyes light up from something so simple. Something gained when slowly Timber's losing everything, losing the will to fight against Galbadia's stranglehold.

She thanks him later with a kiss behind the merry-go-round operator's booth, tasting sticky sweet like cotton candy. The skin under her t-shirt is soft, and she's got on a bra with an easy clasp. “I knew you'd win me something,” she whispers in his ear under the moonlight.

I am not sure if you mis-posted to the wrong comment or something judging by the prompt, but aaaaaa <333 so cute. I think I really do prefer Seifer/Rinoa over Squall/Rinoa; the dynamics are just so much more fun to play with.

Oh, it wasn't misposting so much as it was cheating: I snuck 'another side' into the first line ;)

FFVII-Tifa/Aeris Remember? (PG) chicacherry19 March 3 2010, 20:44:15 UTC
The rain pattering against the glass window and the raging, flashing lightning made it near impossible for a guest to get some decent sleep, Aeris thought bitterly. Sure, it was part of the effect of the Haunted Hotel, but how were you supposed to rest with all that crashing and banging going on? She sat up on the bed in frustration. She had enough on her mind as it was without all the distractions.
A light knocking on her door interrupted her train of angry thought however.
"Who's there?" She asked. She half hoped it was room service. She felt in the mood to issue a complaint.
"Aeris? Is it okay to come in?"
Aeris blinked. "Tifa? Yeah, of course. Go right ahead."
The door opened as she looked at the flushed brunette walking in, a smirk stretched across her lips.
Aeris cocked her head. "What?"
"Guess who I saw leaving the hotel together just now."
Aeris raised an eyebrow. "Who...?"
"Cloud and Barret."
Aeris burst out laughing. "Seriously?! I thought they hated each other."
Tifa shrugged. "I think they were heading for the gondalas too."
This provoked a fresh wave of giggles in Aeris. "Aww...Cloud's first date."
Tifa shook her head in amusement. "Anyway...I didn't come here to talk about Cloud." She met Aeris's curious green eyes. "I want to go to the theatre. You want to come with me?"
Aeris sighed. "Mmm...nah, I'm not really in the mood."
Tifa stared. "You? Not in the mood? You're kidding, right?"
"No...I mean...I don't...well..."
Tifa grabbed her arm and lifted her up from the bed. "Come on! Let's have some fun."
Aeris laughed at Tifa's forceful approach. "Hey!"

"That sucked."
"Ugh, they should have let us play the leads. What were they on about 'the woman can't be the hero?' Pathetic."
"Yeah, but maybe the verbal abuse was going a bit too far, Aer. they almost threw us out of the theatre."
Aeris sulked. "Yeah, well he deserved it. I could save you from a dragon, no problem."
A smile curved on the corners of Tifa's mouth. "Really?"
Aeris nodded confidently. "Hey Tifa..." she wondered aloud. "Do you remember when we first met in Don Corneo's, and I came in with Cloud disguised as a girl?"
Tifa grinned at the memory. "He looked so pretty..."
Aeris snorted. "Yeah, but that's not what I mean. I mean..well..."
She looked seriously at Tifa for a moment. "I just...never thought that we'd get so close so fast. It's weird. It feels like I've known you forever."
Tifa nodded. "Yeah...hey, what about that time in Cosmo Canyon when we ordered Cosmo Candles and the drink was actually on fire? And my hair got caught in it and you tried to put it out with your drink?
Aeris winced. "Yeah...I was so sure I burned you!"
"Yeah, but we were practically in hysterics afterwards."
"Yeah..." Amongst the joy of memories of the past, the pang of the present creeped back into Aeris's mind, and suddenly, the memories were not so comforting. Tifa noticed the change of expression and whispered. "Aer? You okay?"
Aeris nodded silently. "Ti? I don't want to remember anymore."
Tifa didn't understand why Aeris looked so troubled, but she knew that questions would be useless, so she pulled the depressed flower girl to her chest, kissing the tip of her forehead.
"It's okay Aeris. What matters is now, right?"

(Okay, I messed up posting this. First I originally posted it as anonymous and then I don't know where I posted it :s But um..here!)
