Wow, this was excellent.
I especially love the ending and how it was all a ruse. Very Firefly-esque! And I agree, the use of language was extremely beautiful in this story.

Um, and yeah, Holy Grail flashbacks for me too. "She's a witch! Burn her!" *giggle*
