Oh god, I think I love you!

I have a serious secret obession with Jayne/Inara. And this was fantastically, beautifully, heart-rendingly written.

You wrote Jayne perfect. He's lude and crude, but there's an underlying respect and desire to protect women, especially the girls of Serenity. And I just ADORE this depiction of that.

And Inara was so beautifully regal throughout. The last line hits is resounding and perfect.

That was really amazing! I've never read Jayne/Inara before...but I really like this. I can so see how it could grow from something like this. There is often a huge attraction that developes between rescuer and rescuee. :)

Their characters were both nicely shown. I think I may have a new pairing to obsess over ;)

I really like how you have specific, interesting sidethoughts of the characters--for example, when Inara notes that blue isn't her best color. Well done! i also love your Jayne! (He's my favorite!)

Loved it! I adore Jayne when he's honorable; I think he would be underneath it all.
