Summary: He sees her smiling, twirling and calling out, “Indigo, Indigo.”
She smiles cinnamon smiles and she cries salt-water taffy tears. She’s his life and she’s his everything and he doesn’t know why he can’t get her out of his head. When he closes his eyes he can sense her presence lying close next to him. When he opens his eyes he sees her smiling, twirling and calling out, “Indigo, Indigo!”
Sometimes when he’s talking, even to other people, she finishes his sentences. She smiles knowingly and he wonders who is he is but River’s protective older brother Simon. He wonders who River is other than his beautiful sister. He can’t seem to find the line between River and himself.
River is the smarter of the two, she finds the invisible line. So she tells him riddles that he never figures out, just because he doesn‘t want to. River doesn’t want to think of her brother as stupid, but it’s the right word to describe him when he’s thinking of her. And she knows he’s always thinking of her.
