Oh, this pairing, desperate and broken and painful and yet so right, too - I love it. And you write it so damn well.

Thanks so much! This was baby's first attempt at Mal/Zoe; they're broken and beautiful when done right, and I was (and still am!) terrified of writin' 'em wrong.

So.

First time I've read Mal/Zoe but I can see this happening if Inara leaves again and Eized, you're right. They are both broken and desperate, and maybe both of them thinking of some one else.

Thanks for the kind words! I'm so glad this feels like it could fit with them, especially -- and AUGH, I love Mal/Inara to pieces -- if Inara left.

Ah, I love it. So much.

Because it was perfection. HOH.

It was hott, and there was something so sad about it. One thing that I loved in particular was that it was totally in character, there was nothing about it that rang false or forced. I loved that they weren't falling in love with each other, or realising their feelings, it was very much about the act and how it made them feel, not the people really. Does that make sense? haha. I'm tired. =P

But I loved it. And gorgeous writing.

Thank you! I'm so glad to hear this resonated; I was terrified it would be out-of-character the second anything but the physical came through, because Mal and Zoe are both such action-based characters who aren't prone to excess rumination. If, uh, that makes sense, as I'm now on my fourth cup of Starbucks for the day. *g*

Thanks for reading, and for the feedback!

Thanks so much - I'm so glad it reads as plausible, because I was terrified of this becoming too out-of-character for words. ♥

This makes my heart hurt, but in a good way. It's raw and real and yes. Thank you.
