It had been quite a while since he'd arrived there. Yet, Fratley really had seen no need to leave, no matter how strange the regulars were, and no matter how many times he'd forgotten the names of those he'd met. Now, he sat at the bar, sipping at his drink. Every so often, he glanced at the bar's other occupants as they came and went, but otherwise didn't make any move to talk to them. Did he know anyone here? He didn't think so. It was hard to say, really.

Red walked up to Fratley's table, and pulled his foreclaws onto it, wondering if Fratley was drinking on his tab again even though he would surely have to introduce himself again. In fact he was so use to having to, he immediately did so, "Hello General, my names Red and you've been hanging around with me since you got here. You're just going to have to take my word for it." He began drumming his one claw and sighed, "This place is so repetitive, I'm going to need to go soon." Maybe he'd take this guy with him? Maybe not...

Fratley glanced at the one who'd spoken, frowning in confusion. "Red," he repeated, furrowing his brow. Yes, there was something familiar about that name, wasn't there? Fratley reached into his pocket, taking out the piece of paper on which he'd started writing basic things down- names and facts which he was supposed to remember. Red was listed as a helpful individual, an ally. Well, he'd likely be decent company, then. "You can sit down for a few, have a drink or something." Fratley gulped down the last of his drink, asking for another almost immediately after.

Red stretched his neck and looked over the piece of paper, seeing his and several other names listed on it, then went back to the table, "Still not having luck then? I still think we should take you to a doctor. I have been asking around the bar as to what you are though, and a few people said they'd seen your type here before. I keep hoping another one will come in but they don't seem very common..." Red watched as he had another drink, "Maybe you shouldn't have too much, you might... " No he wouldn't regret it in the morning, he probably wouldn't remember. Red became oddly quiet then spoke up again, "Its not the best thing to do given you're already forgetting things..."

Fratley nodded. "Those are my thoughts exactly." He grinned at Red then, and laughed. "I just keep having this feeling that if I was to remember everything, I'd regret parts of it. And that if I was to go to anyone about this, I'd just get captured again. Who knows?" He shrugged and took a swig of his drink. "Come on, settle down, have some drinks. We must do this every night, huh?" Fratley glanced again to the paper in his hand, eyes trailing over the image of a female form he'd drawn on one of the edges. With a sigh, he folded the paper again. He didn't know her name, but the feeling he had about her was still so intense.

Red pondered as he looked at the strange person he'd been hanging out with, "Oddly enough, I don't think I've seen you drink this much as of yet, though you seem to always be drinking more... Do you remember anything I said about Sephiroth? How we were going to go after him? I'm beginning to wonder if you'd be up for fighting after all." Red nodded as a waitress brought him his own non-alcoholic drink in a bowl rather than a glass. Had he really been here so much lately that they didn't have to ask what he wanted?

Fratley made another confused face, clearly not in any state of mind to consider fighting. He fumbled, unfolding the paper. "Sephiroth. Your enemy, huh? Well, I don't know. As much as I'm sure that I've fought before, my duty lies... hell, I don't even know where my duty lies." He drank some more, his gaze wandering to watch a small group of young women as they approached the bar.

Red nodded, "I understand." He couldn't very well ask him to fight when he wasn't sure who his enemies were. Maybe he should go into one of the cities and fetch a doctor of some kind. But what kind of doctor would he even get? If he could just find out where he kind came from he could simply take him there. As he thought about these, he noticed Fratley looking at something and followed his gaze to a group of females near the bar, of various species though none of them Fratley's. He then looked back at Fratley, "General?..."

A few more sips of the drink... how many had he had tonight already? Fratley didn't much care at that point, he was beginning to feel much calmer, even if it had taken enough to get him this loosened up. He grinned and nudged Red. "They're sort of cute, aren't they?" In the back of his mind, he was thinking of... someone, he didn't know who, but right now, right now was a different matter. He started to get up, a little wobbly, so he could head toward the females.

Red's eyes got big as he was nudged, wondering if his 'friend' remembered anything they had said thus far, "I wouldn't know... I don't really go for two legged things..." Red sighed and silently lamented the lack of his own species here before becoming remotely alarmed that Fratley was rising from his seat and walking towards them. Gods if he tried to hit on the Ronso he'd have his head handed to him for sure. He got up as well and stepped over to him, "General... I don't think this is such a great idea... I mean you might have someone you don't remember..." he tried to sound logical.

Fratley tripped and caught himself, leaning against a bar stool. Maybe he'd had a tad bit more than he'd thought... "What'd you mean?" He turned to face Red, a little puzzled. "There's no harm, is there? And the blue one, she's attractive. Reminds me of... well, I don't even know who!" Fratley steadied himself and continued making his way over toward the group, eyeing the Ronso in particular.

Red shook his head and tried to place himself between Fratley and those he was perving on, "I just don't think it's a great idea... and the blue one... those types can be a bit harsh if they decide they don't like you. I've seen them kick guys half way across the bar before." What Fratley really needed was to lay down, and Red hoped he could get him back to his room.

"What's wrong with you? I'm just trying to take my mind off things..." Fratley tried to force his way past Red. He waved, trying to catch the Ronso girl's attention. "Hello! Can I get you a-" But with Red in the way it was rather difficult to go anywhere, especially in the state Fratley was in right now.

Red tried to be a bit more casual as the girl looked their direction, and sat back on his haunches very tempted to feign ignorance in regard to his rather loud friend. He spoke lowly, "Your mind is already off quite a many things..."

Fratley forced his way past Red, grinning as he caught the tall girl's eye. He didn't really note the less than pleased expression on her face. "I don't believe we've met before," Fratley stated, making his way toward her. It was always a fair guess, anyway, and seemed to be how he was starting most conversations these days. "Could I buy you a drink?"

Red looked around casually hoping he hadn't been noticed, looking everywhere but Fratley in fact. He calmly got up and walked back to his table, taking a seat where Fratley had been and finishing off his previous drink.

"No...." the Ronso replied, and turned back to the others she was with, without another word towards Fratley.

"Any of you? Ladies?" Fratley laughed nervously as the Ronso girl again turned to look at him. This time, she stood up, glaring at Fratley as she towered over him. "No," she stated again in a deep, strong voice. Fratley again managed a nervous laugh, but he backed away. Then again... maybe he wouldn't have much luck with them. Fratley cast a glance around the room full of strangers and shoved his hands into his pockets. The one he really wanted to find... would he even recognize her if he did see her?

Red pushed the empty glass away and motioned for Fratley to come over after he seemed finished with the ladies, wondering if he even would. At this point he was becoming tired enough of watching him on his own that he'd let him go if he wanted. He was all for helping people, but he would rather it be dangerous than annoying, "Maybe we should get you to bed General, maybe try that again sober."

"I'm not-" Fratley again stumbled, knocking into a girl passing by. He grinned at her in apology, and shook his head at Red. "Not that drunk, not really..." He sighed, leaning against the table. Then again, maybe the red one had a point. "Have you ever loved someone, red one? I do, and I don't even know her name. I figure I'll find her, if I wait long enough..." He trailed off in his rambling and shrugged. Bed sounded pretty good just now.

"I haven't... there aren't that many of my kind left to begin with, and I'm a bit more picky ... " Red got back up and nudged Fratley towards the stairs and hopefully from there to his room, "I was hoping whoever you last saw would find you here. It is the logical place to look, but they could have just been unlucky and missed you. They probably didn't expect you to stay here..."

Fratley paused and glanced back at a small group of people entering the bar. For a moment, he was tempted to try again- nah, he'd had it for the night. "I've considered leaving. It's just that... I don't know. It's easier to stay here. But any decisions like that'll have to wait for morning..." He again found himself grinning strangely. Reaching out a hand, he patted the top of Red's head. "Good night, then, uhhh... Red."
