WEEK 012 | SUBMISSIONS
It's almost time for the new voting post, so here are the new submissions! Next week I am hoping to have another silly theme if I manage to think of something. If you have any suggestions (especially for something silly!) then do tell me about them here. I would love to hear peoples' suggestions for that so that I know what kind of things you guys would like to do!
GENERAL THEME: Rest
Ah, resting. That's always fun. Therefore, why not interpret it into an icon? Have a character who is resting, peaceful or sleeping, find some text that represents the theme, colour it in a dreamy, restful manner... you could do anything, really. I'd love to see some interesting interpretations of this theme.
IMAGE THEME: Logos (thanks to chacusha for suggesting this theme!)
No, not the Final Fantasy X-2 character. I'd like to see you find a way to interpret the one of the main logos of the many Final Fantasy games into an icon! They usually have lovely artwork in in and of themselves, or you can use them alongside another character or cap.
Rather than posting every single logo here, as that would take forever, may I direct you to THIS FF WIKI PAGE which honestly has every single logo imaginable there. It's insane. (It doesn't have KH logos there, but they are less numerous so they're pretty easy to find yourselves if you would like to use one.)
Your entries are due in by Friday the 24th of February at 10PM GMT.
1. You must be a member to participate/vote.
2. You may make up to three icons per challenge.
3. Your icon must meet LJ standards (100x100 max, 40kb max, JPG, PNG, GIF)
4. Your icon must be made using some sort of material relating to the Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts franchises.
5. No fanart allowed unless, for whatever reason, the challenge specifically permits it.
6. Keep it PG 13. No harsh language or nudity. They're video game icons, it's just not necessary.
7. The icon needs to be made for this challenge, not just one you've had lying around. Of course there's no way to check this unless it's one you've previously uploaded, but please.
8. Do not use/display/advertise the icon until the challenge is over, meaning the voting is closed and the winning post is up. That way it's fair. If you are caught advertising then you will be disqualified for that week.
9. During voting, do not ask people to vote for you/create extra accounts to vote for yourself. That's just not fair.
