Week 336: Free For All
... And with the end of the summer comes another end. Over the years, the community has passed hands many times, but I've managed it the longest, with three, almost four, years now, and so I've been particularly attached to it. I've gotten to know a lot of our members through this community, through their graphics, and just through livejournal in general. It's weird to think of how much time has passed by; I started participating in ff_awards in 2006 when I was in 8th grade and now I find myself entering my second year of college in two weeks. To be honest, I probably should have passed along my mod duties a year ago when I first started college; I definitely didn't have the time to devote to the icontest or even the icon community that I did in high school. But like I said, I was really attached to the community, and I've loved being a part of it and seeing all the icons you guys have made. But with that said, I do believe that it's time to pass ff_awards onto more capable hands.
For this week's challenge, we will have a free for all -- no restrictions (besides the usual), anything goes. I want to see you guys be as creative, as innovative, as artistic as you guys can be with your icons this week! Also, I'm bumping up your maximum allowed number of entries to 3 for this challenge. After the challenge, I'll do some housekeeping and put up a more comprehensive post about the future of ff_awards.
Make me proud, guys; let's go out with a bang. (:
