Sephiroth stared down at his rival, his other half, and heard Cloud say, "Stay where you belong. In my memories."

"I will... never be a memory...."

Was it really this easy? Memories are cruel things, Sephiroth realized. They can't be chosen, they just are.

If memories inflict so much pain, Sephiroth was fine being one. It was much easier being the villain.
