He asks for her number after the filming of M!Countdown. She is on her way out of the building when Hyukjae runs up to her and calls her name. She stops in front of her van, and signals to her manager to wait for a bit. When he catches up with her seconds later, he whips out his cellphone and asks. Eeteuk and Shindong are close behind, giving him questioning glances, hitting him on the sides with their elbows. She, on the other hand, has a surprised look on her face and looks at him as if asking whether he is sure about what he's doing.
"Don't get me wrong," he says, waving his hands in front of his flustered face. "I'm just happy to see an old acquaintance."
"What do you mean?" Younha asks.
"SM auditions? 1998?" he tries to remind her in a hopeful tone. She nods slowly in reply, trying her best to make sense of what Hyukjae was talking about while being polite at the same time.
"You remember me, right?" he presses on excitedly with a hopeful tone in his voice. "I went on stage right before DBSK's Xiah Junsu, and then you came in after him, right? Right?"
It takes a few seconds before her face brightens and she exclaims, "Right!" Hyukjae grins and gives both Eeteuk and Shindong a proud look.
Younha laughs softly. "I'm sorry for not remembering right away, Eunhyuk-sshi," she apologizes and bows slightly.
"No need to apologize!" Hyukjae says. "There were a lot of us who auditioned that day. You really couldn't have remembered right away."
Eeteuk giggles from behind. "Pedophile," he mutters not-so-softly. Hyukjae forgets that Eeteuk is a hyung and gives him a quick glare.
Younha then recites her mobile phone number slowly, looking at her own cellphone and avoiding her manager's icy glare. She looks slightly cold in her thin white dress.
"By the way, Junsu wants to meet you again, too," Hyukjae says as he punched the numbers in. "He got really excited when he found out that you're debuting here."
Younha blushes, flattered at Hyukjae's words. "Ah, really? I-I'm very honored... I want to meet him, too."
"He's coming over here to Korea next week. How about having dinner at his place?" Hyukjae asks. Too quick, he scolds himself mentally right after.
But before Younha can answer, her manager calls her in. She's scheduled to appear in a variety show in an hour, no time for making acquaintances with other members of the industry for now.
"I'm sorry, I have to go," Younha apologizes and bows. "It's nice meeting you - again," she adds with a smile that Hyukjae finds too sweet to be comfortable with.

"You slimy thing," Shindong remarks and gives him a push as they walk back to the building. "What kind of person uses his best friend's name to get a girl's number?"
"Well, he didn't lie to her," Eeteuk answers in Hyukjae's defense.
"Yeah, but do you think Younha would have remembered him if he didn't say DBSK'S Xiah Junsu?" Shindong argues further on.
"Hey!" Hyukjae retorts. "Of course, she would!"
In his mind, however, Hyukjae makes a mental note to send an e-mail to Junsu that night, to thank his best friend for helping him get his newest celebrity crush's number.
