Cosplay update
Ok, quick update on my Append Miku cosplay, I am almost done with the belt!
So I got like half of the belt done! ^__^ I've been so careful about this thing, hehe. Sanding ever edge, fixing every little thing. I hope all my hard work shows! ^__^ The green parts of the belt, the little gem looking things, are a beach like ball that I cut up and put over some foam, they look really cool close up. ^_^
From the side you can see the gold painting I've been doing on the main swimming suit looking part. Once again I got a gold paint marker from sharpie. I used some t shirt transfers as reference and then painted the designs. I find if you use crazy glue on the transfers then peel off the transfer, the ink kind of stays on the glue, so I've been trying to use that to my advantage? Then on the belt you can see my leaf like skirt things, I used white for the design because when I first thought of what the design would be made from, I was thinking like an etched glass. I got some of those stick on etch glass looking plastic rolls, but I just can't figure a way to get them to stay on. So I painted them instead....I'm thinking of maybe going over the white with a glow in the dark green paint I bought....maybe...maybe not..
Still lots of work to go but I'm getting there! Now I have to go to bed, although I am an overnight worker now, my dentist still wants to see me at 8:30 AM. X__X Later all!
