New job?
So I recently went and interviewed for a job with Charlie. When I went there the interview seemed downright painful. The guys seemed very unimpressed with me and I left thinking the hated me and there was no way I got the job. I went home and cried....for hours. I thought I was stuck in this situation with my supervisor and I'll never get out , trying to come up with a plan B, all that stuff. Then Charlie calls and says "Oh, they said you did an amazing interview." And I'm thinking "yeah....amazing" thinking it was probably sarcastic and they were just saying it to be nice to Charlie. Then he comes back home that morning and says "My supervisor came to me tonight and said you're hired!!". I was like "What?" And he says "Yeah! They loved you!" ......I put my head in my hands like dumbfounded. I still don't know if they are doing it as some sick joke thinking there is no way I can handle the job, but this is where I shine. Doubt me all you want, I know I can do it. Or at least, I will give it my all. Wish me luck guys! Now I just have to worry about how to give a 2 week notice without a commotion. I've been there 5 years, it's a pretty long time, I don't know if they are going to try to get me to stay or anything..
