Your writing is always interesting and always worth taking the time to read.
I wonder if lonely people in France (who speak French) are in a constant struggle to find a word for the emotion they are feeling, or if people in France are just never lonely?
I am reading a book right now called "Word Play: What happens when people talk." It's somewhat relevant to what you're discussing about communication and acquiring certain words and phrases from writers or other languages. Maybe when I'm done I will send it in a package to you.

just make sure you stutter and stammer like the french do. "eh" instead of "um" and "like".
sometimes i read things you write and i feel like you wrote it in another language and had a translator translate it all into english. ha.
