Summer is almost gone. The semester has only this week & next left. YAY! I haven't given much thought to fall yet. I found out last week that I'm not teaching so it's just work & 1 class next semester. Hopefully I can dedicate more time to class & get an A. That will really help my GPA & overall standing.

For the first time in forever, I have only 6 library books checked out. 3 are actual books & 3 are audiobooks. It's incredibly strange to see such a short list. I bought a good number of used books at Goodwill last week which may be part of the reason. I'll probably read most of them then donate them to Goodreads bookswap or back to Goodwill. A few I bought to keep for my collection. I think I'm more interested in tackling some of the classic books & epic fantasy right now which need more time than a 3-week checkout. Hm.

I've also cut down on some knitting. A few projects have changed status to hibernating instead of active. I started a new lace shawl on Friday which is part of a KAL at Knitche. It seems to be an easy pattern with about 6 different sections. I'm almost done with the 1st section & we're starting the 2nd one this Friday. I'm also still working on the WendyKnits Summer Shawlette which is going MUCH better this time. Yarn really makes a difference. The last active project is my toe-up socks. Still on the foot part with lots of mindless stockinette.
