a lot has changed this summer.
I left the bean, im working as a couselor at white pine village, shining star camp.
Its located at the double JJ resort for the summer up by muskegon.
I work with kids who come from low-income families or foster homes.
Most of these kids are troubled and our job is to give them a good break from the shit they deal with everyday.
I'm with the kids 24 friken hours a day though.
I SLEEP in the same cabin as them.
this job is awesome though.
i want to be a teacher so I need the experience.
also Im helping to give kids a chance at hope and experiences that make them feel good.
IT's a taxing job...
but I love it so far.
i really do.
