I've got a mammogram scheduled this afternoon. Woo. I know it's a waste of time. After this, I think I'll pass on scheduling another one until I'm 50.
I saw a commercial today for some place that gave senior discounts to people over 55. I thought out loud, "only 14 years to go..." Connie snapped, "Shut up." :D
We finished the bedroom and are all moved in. One room is done. Now, just the rest of the house to go.
I'm asking for tomorrow off, so I'll have a 5-day weekend. I plan on spending it staying as far away from the stores as I can and playing as much Assassin's Creed II as I can.
Not doing anything special or cooking anything special for Thursday. It's a bogus holiday, rife with false history. If they'd just call it "Family Get-Together-For-Dinner-And-Football Day" I could get behind it. But they try to bullshit us with that whole Pilgrim-Indian lovefeast when history says most of the Indians in the area were DEAD because of the Pilgrims, and the Pilgrims built on top of the devastated Indian village and were basically all assholes, thankyouverymuch.
I watched Louis Black's Surviving the Holidays special last night. That was good.
