Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday dear Jonathan,
Happy Birthday to you!
Hey there Mister Amazing Person. Yes, I'm talking to you--no, not you Vijay. You can't take credit for this one. This one goes out to the one who suffered through Mr. Hall's geometry class in our first semester of freshman year. He introduced me to his quirky, unique, and funny sense of humor in that class. I'm talking about the guy who asked me for a divorce well before I was even contemplating marriage, and who stripped me of all my assets. Well, maybe not all--he only got the chimney, the television, and the rats in the basement. You know who I mean: the guy with the best taste in music, who doesn't like Radiohead (oh, wait, I'm thinking of the wrong guy; scratch that last sentence...). I actually am talking about one of the most prolific, witty, and courageous poets ever to come out of Springbrook High School (you know the guy: he wrote about birdshit and sacriligious pizza delivery).
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Jonathan! I wish I could be there to help you celebrate today/tomorrow/the instant in between, but just know that I'm thinking of you and today's events during the past four years: the taking the trip to D.C. to see _Rear Window_, scaring the living daylights out of you at your surprise party (face it! You were scared!), eating choo-choo train cake after choo-choo train cake.... Have a wonderful fantabulous day, m'dear. I love you!
