The artwork for these is adorable. Someone needs to do these. I would claim one, but I don't feel that I could do the Riddler justice. I don't have a feel for his voice.
If anyone out there wants a prompt to help you out, I looked at the artworks and I came up with a couple of story ideas:
Prompt 1: Edward Nigma and Jonathan Crane not being very happy with each other.
For this one, I imagine that Crane was running some kind of scheme (drug dealing ala The Dark Knight?) when Nigma -- being chased by the Batman -- managed to run through the middle of Crane's deal and brought the fury of the Bat down on Crane's head. Nigma escaped in the meanwhile and Crane had his plans ruined. So later, when he gets away, Crane tracks down Nigma and yells at him for being a jack ass. There could be slashy times to prove his apology, or maybe they just talk it out.
Prompt 4: Eddie's just a little beat up.
Nigma is doing something a bit bad, but ends up seeing the Batman drugged and about to be killed. He steps in and saves Batman, only to get beat up himself. Batman injects himself with the drug neutralizer and saves Nigma before he can be murdered. He takes Nigma back to the apartment Nigma has been living and takes care of him, calling Alfred to bring medical supplies. Nigma never sees Alfred as anything more than a shadow of a man and a soft voice as Batman wraps him with bandages and uses bags of ice on him. Maybe there's a soft kiss on the lips from Bruce before he leaves, one that Nigma thinks might have been a good dream. He wakes up with the Batman's cape still covering him and wonders how much of the night before was real.
Prompt 5: A tiny Riddler flailing in indignation as he's picked up by the collar of his suit.
There was an episode of the Super Friends where they were shrunk to doll-size and had to escape, though I can't remember the villain or the means of shrinking. I think there was a little girl in a pink dress with a dollhouse, but maybe I'm projecting, lol. Anyways, maybe there's a magical kid that wants the complete collection of superheroes and supervillains to play with. Nigma doesn't realize anything's going on until he finds himself shrunk and added to the collection. The superheroes and supervillains have to work together to escape. Along the way, they end up meeting the kid's dad, who is disappointed in his child, but not very sympathetic toward the shrunken people. Or maybe they escape and run into Bruce Wayne, who for no real reason (:P) helps them to get back to their normal size. And maybe Nigma goes back to say thank you. Maybe he breaks the riddle of the Batman's secret identity in the process, but is cool enough not to say anything.
