That's a pretty interesting plan. I'll pass it on to J and see what he thinks. He does understand credits cards, since he has them. They piggyback on his parent's accounts, so he does need to be conscious not only of his impact on his own credit, but his parents' as well. I think placing a monetary value on things may cause him to think more. He's really just doesn't have it in his head to be careful about things, despite the fact that he has broken several of his mother's crystal glasses as other things in the past. He limits himself to using plastic cups both here and at home because he understands his propensity to break glasses, but that only relieves him of the risk, it doesn't address it.
I rarely every broke anything at home (except myself), so I never really experienced what it's like to break something valuable that belonged to someone else. I did however, as a small child, get pretty good spankings (well, worse than spanking but anyway), so I prolly just lived in fear of the consequences for breaking stuff.
The vase is currently sitting on our bar next to all the alcohol, since we're moving everything around to refinish the floors. Previous to that it sat on the lazy susan in the center of the dining table. At one point it was surrounded by the green, iridescent champagne glasses we used at our wedding and it all matched very nicely. The glasses have since been put away and I haven't found flowers pretty enough to go in the vase, but I live in hope. I should go find some mini callalillies and green orchids, that would prolly looks perfect in it.
I await your next visit with anticipation, even though it is many many many months away!
Take pics of the house when you guys are done! I would love to see it again... and Anthony would love to play with Pinky again! I promise he won't try to poke his butt anymore... *lol*
