Well, it's a post, of course. 8D
Yeah, shock. I've been on ignore lethargy mode for.. Well my whole life lately.
But some interesting things have happened, so I thought I would post.
Dad Update: His first surgery went well, but then the retina detached again and he needed to have a second surgery on his eye. He said the 2nd one was causing him alot more pain, and the pain meds just made him sleep. But that's the last I've heard. In my family, no news is usually good news, so I'd rather have a happy healed rested father without hearing from him than a stressed one at work despite being in pain. We usually chat on the computer while he's at work because he works with computers and whatnot. xD
Andee's dad: Is in the hospital. I think it's mostly for observation. He was having a rather severe pain in his side on saturday, so they took him in and are making him stay for a few days. They think it's just some swollen rib joint, but seeing as he's over 60, they want to make sure there's nothing wrong with his heart. Better a little more caution than having him have some serious problem, right? He's also retiring at the end of this month, so everyone wish him a happy retirement! xD
Me: I have hypothyroid issues! They did a stress test and found my heart rate was slightly high, and they decided to take blood to see if I have something actually wrong with me(aside from being a fattie). And they did! My thyroid hormone is too low so I get some happy thyroid meds. It will hopefully help me in my quest to lose weight, as well as have more energy. Hah! And you all thought I was just fat, lazy, and depressive for no good reason! So, we'll see how these thyroid meds do. Maybe I'll actually have warm hands and feet for like the first time in my life. I still have to figure out what is wrong with my ears, though. And for that I get to call and ear/nose/throat specialist. *joy*
Furwads: Twinky is on prednisone pills for his asthma. I guess they are helping, i haven't heard his cough at all for a while. The pills don't seem to have such bad side effects as the shot he got a few years ago, so I'm glad. I haven't been finding many pee spots where they shouldn't be, either. So that's good. And kitty is her normal furry self. Not much new to report there. She was flung over my shoulder drooling on my neck a few minutes ago. xD
Andee: Doing well. Work is really super stressful, he's likely flying to canada sometime in early November. But I want him to go at the end of october, purely for personal reasons. xD
And I think that's about it. Now I shall go vanish off the face of LJ again for a while. xD
