i should be cleaning the kitchen

So. Last weekend was fun. friseurfrau and her husband came up for a visit. They arrived late friday night at the train station. we went to look for food for them but all that was open was mcdonalds or burger king. so they bought food and we all went back to the apartment. we ate and chatted for a while. eventually we all went to bed. Saturday, we got up and went to the bakery(minus andee, he was still sleeping). We bought some breakfast and enjoyed the relatively nice weather. After breakfast, they all played this game they brought while friseurfrau and i baked cake and made tiramisu. I refused to join the game because i'm a stick in the mud. but i said i'd watch. turned out better that way, anyways, because i had to finish the tiramisu before we went out for lunch. Lunch was at subway. friseurfrau hadn't eaten subway in forever and she really wanted it. i didn't actually order anything because i wasn't hungry(i made tiramisu, remember? had to check and make sure it tasted good! xD) and i knew there would be a ton of food at the party that evening. After lunch, we looked at the time and realized we had better head out to Lauf or we might be late! So, everyone packed everything up and we headed out to lauf. Whrn we got there, we had enough time for a short walk around the city. we showed off the old town and the castle and the mill to friseurfrau and her husband. they took some photos, i had left the camera at the house (doh!). When we had finished sightseeing, we went directly to the restaurant where the party would be. We were the first ones there, so we made ourselves comfy while waiting for everyone else to arrive. the party was fun. they made some kind of vegetarian food for me, and everyone else had whatever andee and his brother had ordered. Schnitzel, a plate with different roasts on it,.. and maybe something else, i can't really remember. friseurfrau and i were laughing about the vast variety of potatos they had served. there were potato dumplings, fries, and croquette. my meal were these potato pockets, they were potato outside and fresh cheese with herbs on the inside. xD the germans love potatos!! :D after the meal we talked and played some other games. i got to help friseurfrau understand how to play the game, so i didn't actually have to play(yay!). Eventually, we ended up being the last people there, too. xD We all went back to andee's dad's house and crashed there. the next morning we got up and had breakfast. it was already pretty late by then, and friseurfrau and her husband needed to get to the lauf train station. i thought that might be faster than us all rushing to get back to nürnberg in the morning. i don't know if it worked out quite as well as that, though. :/

so, that was it. it was great fun, but of course, the visit was too short! it almost always is, though. xD

in other news, the I KEEEEEL HEEEEMMM saga continues. There's another new pee spot in my ceramics corner. suspicions are that kitty may have done it. she wasn't in the bedroom all night long, but twinky was. unless someone did it between when andee got up and when i got up. i'm not sure if the door was open then, i just kind of forget. it's a fairly small pee spot, too. i'm rather miffed. i'm going to run out of cardboard if this keeps up. D: i've been scooping the boxes approx. twice a day, it depends on how often the beasties poo. which varies day to day. though last night i forgot to scoop them before i went to bed, but the only poo i found looked rather fresh. so i dunno. i'm all sorts of pissed off. i hate cat pee. and im nearly out of nature's miracle. *grump* i should have pee bags installed on the cats, and catheters. so i can just empty the pee bags once or twice a day. bah! except they'd probably comp on them or something and.. yeah. bleargh. well, im going to get a vet apointment next week for the furbutts. i'll ask the vet to check and see if anything's wrong with them that might cause them to pee everywhere. D:

yeah. so that's it. i need to go clean the kitchen now and quit procrastinating. :P
